Handy Acres Farm

Our lesson program would certainly not be as successful without our diverse group of horses and ponies. We have a horse for every level of riding, from beginner to advance, english to western. Let us introduce you to our equine friends!

Emma

Emma is our 11 year old Haflinger pony. She has a personality of her own and loves little kids! She is used for beginner leadline lessons, pony rides, pony parties, and trail rides. She is a great first ride for young children, as she is honest and willing to please.

It's All About Me aka "Mimi"

Mimi is our favorite Camelot graduate. She's a flashy little 4-year-old with a heart of gold. Although she loves little kids, she is great as a leadline pony but needs a stronger hand off-lead. She can be used english or western and is great on the trails. This in-your-pocket pony will be sure to melt your heart.

Just Right aka"JR"

JR is our lovable 15.2 hand Palomino gelding. He can be ridden english or western for intermediate to advanced riders. He is a lazy boy with a bouncy little trot. When he trusts you enough, he'll take you over any jump you point him towards. JR's personality is one that you can't help but to fall in love with!

Dude Can Impress Me aka "Nico"

Nico is a large pony, ridden english or western, and suitable for riders of all levels. He is very versatile, as he is great for lead-line lessons but he can also be used for jumping courses. He listens extremely well and is sure to impress.
RCO Tee Time aka "Cee Cee"

Cee Cee is our 10-year-old quarter horse mare who is sure to turn your head. She can be used english or western but only for an advanced rider.

Miss Molly McChrome aka "Molly"
Molly is a 17-year-old Palomino mare that we use for lessons on occassion. She prefers western, although she will go english as well. She is typically used as a lead-line horse and always places well in a western show ring. Here, she is shown competing in a halter class.
